My advice is to make sure the therapist is certified/licensed and legally able to work in this profession.  Watch out for terms such as “Relaxational Therapist”, “Masseuse/Masseur”, etc.  When asking, ask for his/her Massage License Number issued from the State.  Some states, and eventually Indiana included, require MT’s to physically display their certificate/license.  For extra reassurance, you can also search for the therapist via the state website; for ie, you can find me on www.in.gov.

Massage is essential to the health industry and requires knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, and pathology.  So, it’s imperative that your therapist has that knowledge and is certified/licensed

More than half of the United States receive massage for sports or medical related reasons.  Consulting a physician isn’t generally required when seeking massage.  However, there are a few circumstances that will require a consent before massage treatment.  For example: recently had surgery and waiting to be “cleared”, pregnant during your first trimester and do not receive massage on a regular basis.  Please contact me with any questions before scheduling. Your saftey is extremely important.

I do not accept insurance at this time.  However, clients that have an account for health related services provided by an employer (such as an HSA), have been using that as their method of payment.  I encourage you to check your policies before scheduling an appointment.

Of course!  Indy’s Elite Massage offers physical and digital gift certificates.  Please note the expiration date is 6 months from date of purchase.

Massage:  You undress to your comfort level because your comfort is upmost important.  Some clients keep their undergarment on and some take everything off.  Either way, you are professionally draped.

Halo Vitality Booth Plus:  You undress to your comfort level.  The more skin that is exposed, the better your results will be with both the salt and the red-light therapy.  You will have a towel and goggles provided for you.  Therefore, you are welcome to sit in the booth naked, wrapped in a towel, or fully clothed.  It’s totally up to you.

Clearlight Infrared Sauna:  You undress to your comfort level.  Just know that you are going to sweat. There are towels provided for you.  Like the Halo Booth, you are welcome to sit on the towel naked or fully dressed.  But because you will sweat in your clothes, you might want to bring a bag of new clothes to change into afterwards.

Blue Cube CoreChill 3 Elite Cold Plunge:  You undress to your comfort level.  Some clients bring their swimsuit.  Others wear whatever they wore to the gym and bring a new set of clothes to change into.
